Discounted Hardware and Software
Many computer hardware and software companies offer discounts to students, faculty and staff. Those listed below are not an exhaustive list. When you are shopping online for any technology-related purchase, look for an Education Store, a Student Discount page, or something similar. It also never hurts to send a message to the company's support email to inquire about discounts.

Almost all computer manufacturers, including Apple, Microsoft, Dell and HP, offer discounts to at least some members of the university community. Check their web sites for information.

Some discounts are based on need while others just require that you're currently affiliated with a university. Check with your providers for more information.
