Connect to Wireless - iOS Devices
The settings below may be different depending on your iOS device, the carrier, and the operating system version.
Follow these steps to connect your iPhone to the Benedictine wireless networks EAGLENET or REDHAWKNET. Settings may vary slightly based on your iOS version.
Wireless Network Configuration Settings

Open Settings:
- Tap the Settings app on your iPhone.

Access Wi-Fi Settings:
- Tap on Wi-Fi.

Select the Wi-Fi Network:
- Under Choose a Network, tap EAGLENET or REDHAWKNET.

Enter Authentication Details:

Username:
- Students: Enter your B number (e.g.,
b12345678
). - Faculty/Staff: Enter the first part of your Benedictine email address (e.g.,
jdoe
forjdoe@ben.edu
).
- Students: Enter your B number (e.g.,
- Password: Enter your Benedictine password (the same password used for your email account).

Trust the Certificate:
- You may receive a prompt stating that the server certificate is not trusted.
- Tap Trust in the top right corner to accept the certificate.

Confirm Connection:
- Your device should now connect to the network.
- Ensure the Wi-Fi symbol appears in the status bar.
Additional Notes
- Accepting the certificate ensures a secure connection to the network.
- If you encounter issues connecting, double-check your username and password.
